The Lipstick Politico ( now evolving into PinkSalt) is a global South Asian media and culture platform committed to telling bold, inclusive, and transformative stories. Through our editorial, events, and upcoming products, we create conversations that push boundaries and connect communities worldwide.

 

The Role

We’re looking for a sharp, highly organized, and ambitious intern to work closely with our Founder — managing day-to-day operations while driving brand collaborations and business development.

 

This is not a “coffee-fetching” internship — you’ll be actively shaping campaigns, building partnerships, and helping grow our audience.The right candidate can grow into a full-time position.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Executive Support (50%)

- Manage schedules, emails, meeting prep, and follow-ups for the Founder

- Assist with research, presentations, and administrative tasks

- Keep workflows on track and ensure smooth operations

- Create witty, on-trend memes and content that connect with our audience.

 

Brand Collaborations & Business Development (50%)

- Identify and research potential brand partners aligned with TLPs ethos

- Assist in creating collaboration decks and pitches

- Support outreach and manage brand communications

- Track partnership deliverables and performance

 

You’re a Great Fit If You:

- Are organised, proactive, and can manage multiple moving parts without dropping the ball.

- Are passionate about media, culture, and social impact.

- Have a sense of humour and can create witty, relatable social content.

- Know your way around Canva (bonus if you know other creative tools).

- Love building relationships and aren’t shy about pitching ideas.

- Thrive in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.

 

Internship Details

- Duration: 3–6 months

- Paid internship

- Remote (with flexibility on hours)

- Strong possibility of transition to full-time
